Raleigh-Ann Marie Palider, 85- peacefully went home to be with her Lord on Monday September 20. She was born in Chicago on July 28th, 1925. Ann was one of 9 siblings, all of which preceded her in death. She had a hard life as a child, enduring the family's abandonment by their father, with no means of support. Her happiest day was her marriage on November 22, 1943 to Albin M. Palider who preceded her in death in 1991. Ann gave birth to three daughters and one son.
Ann's sense of humor and positive outlook on life will be missed by all who knew her. She loved cooking and spending time with her family and going on short trips with her sister, Stephanie. Her resurrection to eternal life and knowing she will reunite with her loved ones, who went before her, helps us let go and smile as we remember her and know that one day we will be with her again.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter Claudia Bagley. Ann is survived by her daughter, Carol Ann King and husband Richard of Raleigh- daughter Cynthia Mae Lidd and husband Carl of Asheville- and son Alan Michael Palider and wife Heidi of Chesterton, Indiana- son-in-law, Patrick Bagley- 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and nephews and their families. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 225 No Michigan Ave. Ste. 1200 Chicago, IL 60601, #800-227-2345.
