Apolinar Rosas, 62, of Amarillo, passed away on February 22, 2016 in Amarillo, Texas.
Mrs. Rosas was born on May 04, 1953 to Jose Z. and Maria V. Ibarra in Tamaulipas, Mexico. She had been married to Pascual Rosas for 32 years before his death on November 2, 2010. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, watching movies with her family. Her favorite past time was spoiling her grandchildren. She was a Catholic.
Mrs. Rosas was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
She is survived by five daughters; Veronica Carrillo and husband Jose of Denton, Bertha Sorfleet and husband James, Brenda Serna and fiancé Marlon Hamlin, Belinda V. Serna, all of Chicago, Illinois, and Jacklyn R. Garcia and husband David of Amarillo; 2 sons, Noe Rosas and wife Julie, and Pasquel Rosas, all of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, San Juanita and husband Jose L. of Chicago, Illinois; four brothers, Guadalupe Castillo and wife Juanita, Ignacio Ibarra and wife MaElena, Jose Ibarra, and Jaime Ibarra and wife Gloria, all of Chicago, Illinois; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Saturday 10:15am at the
