Barbara Mensik passed away November 1st 2025. She was born on May 31st, 1932. Barbara grew up in Chicago, IL the oldest of 9.
She had 4 children from a previous marriage and then met the love of her life,Robert J Mensik, whom she married and spent many years together.

She loved Michigan's UP, fishing, and shopping!

She is survived by her daughters, Debra Linkens and Bridget Gancarski (Greg), Grandchildren Jimmy (Michelle) Thome, Michele Doneske, Stephanie Gancarski, Tommy (Michelle) Thome, Lindsey Linkens, Bobby Gancarski, Joseph  Gancarski, and Sammi Gancarski (Bill), Great Grandchildren William Clark, Arianna Thome (Richie), Jennifer Fitak, Michael Doneske, Jayden Thome, Taitum Thome, Austin Richards, Savannah Richards, and Jaxson Richards, a Great Great Grandchild: London Clark, Sisters Eileen,Carol, Linda, and brother Tom, as well as many nieces and nephews, and her Pomeranian Baby who misses her mama already.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Louis and Evelyn Mosqueda, her beloved husband Robert J Mensik. Her sons, Alfred James (Carol) Thome and Kenny KT Thome, and her brothers: George, Charles, Bob, Ronald, and her loving in-laws Robert and Rose Mensik, And will be holding in her arms in heaven her Great Great Grandson.. A Graveside service will be held on Friday November 7th 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic cemetery, Justice IL.
