Ellen Mary McGoldrick passed away on January 29 ^th at the age of 94.  She was born in Kilgarvan, County Kerry, Ireland to Jerry and Margaret Twomey.  She was the loving sister to Margaret (Pat Healy), Patrick (Mary Agnes), Julia (John Naughton), Michael, John (Margaret), Jerry (Mary), Timothy (Rose), Hugh (Celia), Noreen (Sean Hedderman), Daniel (Breda) and Mary.  All of whom preceded her in death.  In 1948, she immigrated to the United States where in a few years, she became a proud citizen of her adopted country.  In 1955, she married the love of her life, Joseph McGoldrick.  They would remain devoted until his death.  Together they would raise six children; John, Patrick, Michael, Jerry, Kevin, and Mary.  She was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews in Ireland, England and the United States.  A longtime resident of the southwest side and a member of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish.  She was a kind neighbor and friend to many.  An avid gardener with a knack for nursing weak plants back to health, perhaps her greatest gift was the nurturing she gave to the people in her life. She will be truly missed. Funeral Friday 9:00 am from the WOLNIAK FUNERAL HOME, 5700 S.
