It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Lourdes Mejia loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on March 11, 2023.

Lourdes was born on January 8th 1947, beloved daughter of Alfonso and Loretta Avalos. dedicated and loving mother to Elizabeth and loving grandmother to her only grandchild Roberto. She always took care of her family in her own unique way. Those that got to know Lourdes will tell you that she loved to meet new people and always willing to help.  She was selfless and would always offer to lend a helping hand. Her strong-willed nature made her such a strong woman. She found love in her family (Elizabeth, Roberto and Esteban) When she wasn't filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in the casino or bingo halls. She loved her bingo.  We will miss her greatly. We will never replace our Lourdes but we are all stronger and better for having her in our lives. We will miss you dearly G-Ma!!
