Beloved wife of Francisco Carlin.

Loving mother of Francisco Jr. (Anabel) Carlin, Jaime Carlin, Joseph (Carmen Mendoza) Carlin, Maria J. (Pedro Rosales) Carlin and Jacob Carlin. Fond grandmother Christian, Jaime, Anthony, Brianna, Gianna, Angel, Anyssa, Sophia, Jasmine, Joshua, Juliette and Leilani.  Great grandmother of Elijah. Dear daughter of the late Jose Rangel Macias and the late Elvira Esparza Ruiz.

Dear sister of Jose (Estella) Macias, Gilbert Macias, Maria (Late Bob) Veres, Victor (Julia) Macias, Late Martha (Francisco) Macias Guzman, Laura (Late William) Burn, Linda (Ricardo) Sanchez, Benjamin (Imelda) Macias and Bertha Macias, step sister of Luis (Magdalena) Macias and Rene (Kinzie) Macias.

Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Cousin and friend of many.

Maria Teresa passed away with her daughter, Maria, and son, Joseph, and her husband of 50 years, Francisco Carlin, at her side on February 29th. She was 70 years old.

She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother filled with compassion. She thought the world of her family and adored every moment she had with them. Her face would light up with joy at just the mention that any one of us was going to visit or call. She loved to dance and would seize any opportunity to do so. Every day was a day to be in heels, dressed to impress to the very end. She stubbornly insisted on wearing dresses daily during her last years of life. Her life was a shining example of love, resilience, and compassion. Though she is no longer here with us in body, her memory will continue to inspire and uplift us all.

To her beloved family, you have all been so precious to her. Her departure has left a void in the lives that remain, but her spirit lives on through each of us. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved, and expressing the same joy as before as she awaits to meet us again on the other side.

Funeral Thursday March 7, 2024 at 8:45 am from the WOLNIAK FUNERAL HOME, 5700 S. Pulaski Rd., to St. Turibius Church (57th and Karlov) for Mass at 9:30 am. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday March 6, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
