Maria Luisa Lazalde

On December 10, 2022, we lost a beloved wife, mother, sister and family matriarch. She was a wonderful mother who was there when needed and a pillar to the Pilsen community. Maria Luisa Lazalde of San Pedro, Coahuila, Mexico passed away at the age of 82 from natural causes. She is survived by her husband of 85, Julio A. Lazalde, children Maria L. Casas, Ricardo S. Casas (Yolanda), Jorge Casas, Veronica C. Casas, Julio A. Lazalde (Celia), Adolfo Lazalde, 17 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Her sister, Leonor M. Vasquez and brother, Julian Quezada predeceased her. She is also survived by their eldest sister Magdalena Quezada. Maria instilled the spirit of keeping the family together and was loved by all. A special thank you to her son Adolfo Lazalde for his care.

Funeral December 15, 2022 Thursday 10:00am from the WOLNIAK FUNERAL HOME, 5700 S. Pulaski Rd., to Mary Mother of Mercy Parish (Formerly Queen of the Universe Church) for Mass at 11:00 am. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation December 14, 2022 Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
