Mary Rose Poineau nee Rubick, of Brookfield, IL., was born on April 27, 1921, in Ottawa, Kansas. She passed on October 18, 2025, at the age of 104. She was one of three daughters born to Wencle John Rubick and Mary Rubick nee Domnanish. She moved to Colorado in her 20's and resided in Pueblo, Colorado for most of her life. She moved to the Chicago area in 2017 to be near family. She lived a long full life and spent many years traveling the world. Preceded in death by her husband Clarence Poineau, son Larry E. Poineau, sisters Velma Peine and Agnes Rubick. Mary is survived by her son John W. (Theresa) Poineau. Grandchildren; Michael Poineau, Daniel Poineau and Michelle Vale. Great Grandchildren; Kate Poineau, Olivia Vale, Nathan Poineau and Jack Vale.  She enjoyed being with her family on the holidays, especially her great grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed. Services are private.
