Panfilo Landeros "Pablo" Banda was born September 7th, 1928 in Mexico. He departed this life on December 28th, 2014 in Palos Heights, Illinois. As a young man, he moved to the United States and settled in Chicago, Illinois where he would meet Raquel Tobias and be united with her in Holy Matrimony. With her, they raised eleven children: Pablo, Saul (Veronica), Estela (Abel) Acevedo, Teresa (Randall) Richardson, Maria (Mauricio) Ochoa, Susana (Victor) Arana, Victoria (Brendan) Cummings, Esperanza, Luis, late Arturo and the late David. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Panfilo was a hard-working man who enjoyed listening to Big Band, Mambo and Trio music of his native Mexico and cooking for his family. After a long career as a manufacturer, Panfilo retired to his native Mexico and led an idyllic life there tending to the oranges that grew in his modest plot.
