Richard John Mann Longtime resident of Bridgeport and West Lawn, Richard "Dick" John Mann, 85, peacefully passed away, Thursday, January 16, 2014, at his home in Bradenton, Florida. Born in 1928 in Erie, PA, Richard was the son to the late John Mann and Marie Mann (nee Stettner). He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Eleanor "Elsie" Mann (nee Antolik), daughter Richelle Marie Talkowski (nee Mann), infant son, Richard John Mann Jr, brothers, James Mann and William Mann. He is survived by his two children, Paulette Ann Mann of St. Petersburg, FL and Michael William (Crisinda) Mann of Riverview, FL, grandchildren, Kimberly Marie Nohr (nee Mann), Dawn Marie Talkowski, Bridget Lynn Bylak, Anthony Michael Mann, and Gabriel John Mann, great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Zachery, Tyler, Miranda, Zac, Lexi and Addison. Richard was a dedicated employee of 35 years in corporate security at First National Bank of Chicago, 1 FNP (currently Chase Bank). He was a parishioner, commentator and member of the Holy Name Society at St. Bridgets while residing in Bridgeport; a parishioner and member of the choir at St. Nicholas of Tolentine after moving to Chicago Lawn; and a parishioner at SS. Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church after moving to Bradenton, Florida. His life-long love of singing, both with and for his family, as well as his friends and church, brought joy to all. He had a wonderful sense of humor, zest for life and a contagious hopefulness.
