Rosa Romero, 66, passed away on September 27th, 2020, due to stomach cancer. She was born August 30th in Monterrey, Mexico to Juana and Rafael Valencia. She later married her high school sweetheart, Xavier Romero in April of 1972. Rosa lived a full life as an adoring wife, wonderful mother, homemaker, and for many years a secretarial worker.

Rosa is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Xavier Romero. She was a wonderful mother to her four children and their significant others, Javier and Joaquina, Cecilia and Erik, Alejandro and Kimberly, and Gabriel. She was also a cherished grandma to Jocelyn, Kaleb, Javier, Nayeli, Aj, Amila, and Miles- all of whom she loved and touched deeply.

Until the Cancer made it impossible, she lived an active life; maintaining the household, creating diabetic-friendly meals for her husband, always giving guidance to her children, spoiling her grandchildren with homemade meals and loved having good conversation with her mother-in-law and neighbors.

She was a very creative and passionate person; you were able to see that in her cooking, baking and her crocheting. She was someone who could crochet a hat for winter, bake nutritious cookies, and make flour tortillas from scratch, simultaneously. Everyone was able to feel her love in everything that she did. She always left a lastly impression on anyone she met just from her wit, charm, or love.
