Beloved wife of the late John Budziak.

Loving mother of Judith (Marlin) Shulist.

Adoring grandmother of Jacob Shulist and the late Maklin Shulist.

Dear daughter of the late Walter J. Godula and the late Antoinette Godula nee Cabaj.

Dear sister of the late Walter (late Helen) Godula, late Loretta Godula, late Irene (late Bruno) Nawara and the late Adolph Godula.

Dearest aunt of Debbie Nawara and many other nieces, nephews and extended family.

Stella was a dear friend and confidant to many.  She loved her McDonald's co-workers and customers and maintained lifelong friendships with many of them, as well as her church and casino partners.  She will be greatly missed.

Funeral Monday, March 8, 2021 9:30am from the WOLNIAK FUNERAL HOME 5700 S. Pulaski Rd. to Five Holy Martyrs Church for Mass at 10:30am.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Visitation Sunday 4:00pm to 7:00pm

Face masks, use of hand sanitizers and social distancing are required.  For the safety of all, we kindly ask that you keep your visitation brief and do not congregate.  A Live Stream of the Monday morning service from the Funeral Home will be available on the Wolniak Funeral Home website for those who cannot attend in person. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Due to the State of Illinois COVID-19 guidelines, only 50 people, (including school age children) are permitted in the building at all times; this does not include funeral home staff or clergy/celebrant.  We kindly ask to keep your visitation very brief to allow all other guests to pay their respects and to minimize those people that are waiting outside in the cold.  Face masks, use of hand sanitizer and social distancing are required. No one should come to the funeral home if they are sick or are caring for someone sick at home.

With the exception of bottled water, food and drinks are not allowed in the funeral home at the current time.
