Tecla, born in Tlatlaya, Mexico, from a young age showed strength and dedication to her family. At 15, she moved to Mexico City to work and help support her loved ones, and later settled in Chicago in 1964. A devoted mother of four Felipe, Jose, Adriana, and Luis, a loving grandmother to Gina, Anabel, Sarah, Luis Felipe, and Luis, and a cherished great grandmother to Anayeli. She lived a life defined by hard work, sacrifice, and love for her family.
