IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Teresa
Herrera
September 4, 1958 – January 4, 2021
Teresa Herrera, 62
Tere, was a loving mother, a beloved wife, friend, and a caring teacher. She was an angel on Earth, and she was called back to Heaven on January 4th, 2021. Her kindness knew no bounds. She was an anchor for those who sought her wisdom, and her loving nature sheltered the people to whom she gave her time. She was a second mom to many, that is simply who she was, but even still, she had enough time and love to share an immense bond with her only daughter, Sarah.
Her life-journey started in San Luis Potosi, Mexico where for many years she cared for her family and friends. In 1995, she intrepidly moved her life to the United States where she built her life alongside her husband Fernando, spending 26 years together in Chicago. She loved dancing, watching Wheel of Fortune, creating new crafts for her students, and had a passion for helping others.
She will be greatly missed by a sea of people, people whose lives she changed by simply being herself. She was needed in Heaven and her daughter and husband await the day they get to see their angel again.
