Virginia P. Wojtycki nee Lany, age 92. 2/18/1932 - 8/22/2024. Beloved wife of 68 years to Fred E. Wojtycki. Loving mother of Sharon Wojtycki, Diane Joritz, Janice (Larry) Arcus and Jane (Tim) O'Brien. Fond grandmother of Matthew (Donna) Joritz, Natalie Joritz, Adam (Rachel) Arcus, Janelle (Matt Prokash) Miller, Charlotte (Stephen) Kopecki and Danielle Wojtycki. Great grandmother of Kurt Joritz, Luke Joritz, Violet Joritz, David Joritz, Erin Miller and Mackenzie Prokash. Loving sister, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. Virginia, known as Virg to those closest to her, was always young at heart. She was born to Polish immigrant parents in Chicago and survived the Great Depression. This resiliency in her adolescence defined her personality as an adult. She was strong yet soft, tough but loving. Virginia enjoyed yoga, collecting crystals and making jewelry.  She adored her grandchildren who were her brightest gemstones. She also loved talking with her sisters, taking care of her family, and just living life. Above all, Virginia was a great wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by many.  Virginia's life, love and light will be ever present and continue to guide us all.
